Creative Learning Adventures provides dynamic, creative workshops and activity sessions for schools, heritage sites, attractions, festivals, events, and communities across Sussex. We specialise in crafting bespoke, engaging experiences that inspire curiosity, spark creativity, and make learning fun, memorable, and meaningful.

For schools, my workshops build on essential academic skills but also explore big-picture concepts like kindness, mindfulness, choice, and empathy, creating holistic learning experiences that support children’s personal and academic growth.

For attractions, events, and festivals, I design bespoke sessions that align with your theme, audience, or key dates, such as Mental Health Awareness Week, World Book Week, or seasonal celebrations. Whether it’s hands-on activities, storytelling, or themed creative workshops, I deliver innovative, inspiring experiences that resonate with visitors of all ages.

FANTASTIC FANTASY

Unleashing children’s creativity by collaboratively creating stories and bringing them to life! They might re-enact pivotal scenes from history or favourite books or create and perform a docu-drama on a key historical character or event. They will try storyboarding adventures, fantasy, science fiction or mysteries and embrace the thrill of improvisation. It’s all about imagination, honing dramatic and presentation skills and developing self-awareness and confidence.

MINI-MINDFULNESS

Empowering children to navigate life with calm and confidence!
Mini-Mindfulness helps children learn ways to handle the stress and fears that lead to anxiety, restlessness, and difficulty focusing. It teaches simple, practical techniques and activities, such as finger-touch breathing, peaceful visualisation, and grounding exercises such as ‘be a tree.’ Children will gain tools to help them feel relaxed, centred, and in control, improving their overall wellbeing and resilience.

NATURE DETECTIVES

Stepping into nature’s playground! Investigating the wonders of the natural world opens a door to never-ending discoveries and activities for children to enjoy. From identifying cloud formations or the slow and fascinating journey of a snail, to creating forest mobiles or bug hotels. It’s about uncovering the secrets hidden in every leaf, stone, feather, and footprint and being creative with natural resources.

WORD WIZARDS

Harnessing the power of words!

In this workshop, children become young writers as they create wondrous worlds, quirky characters, marvellous mysteries and twisty tales. From playful poems to lively limericks or even loving lyrics, they’ll discover the magic of language and the endless possibilities of their imaginations.

But it doesn’t stop there! Together, we’ll explore exciting ways to share their works with the world!

DRAMA-FIT

Blending physical activity with creative expression!
Leaping like dolphins, swaying like trees or surging forward and backwards like the sea. These are some of the activities children will enjoy in Drama-Fit as they channel their energy into imaginative movement and mime.

They’ll transform into animals, inanimate objects, or natural forces, all while honing spatial awareness, coordination, and control. It’s a fun, full-body workout that also builds self-expression and boosts confidence

ENGAGING EXPERIENCES

I offer bespoke workshops designed to match a particular theme or celebration at an event or attraction, or particular topics, themes and developmental goals in school. Whether its historical heroes, Harry Potter, science fun, friendship, emotional wellbeing, monsters and mermaids or online safety, I’ll create a plan that ignites curiosity, encourages interaction and creates fun alongside learning. Each workshop will be as engaging as it is educational.
